We have an immediate opening for a full-time Digital Communications Coordinator in our Marketing department. The successful candidate will lead the global email marketing program at iStock including campaign planning, executing and deploying email campaigns, driving email contact strategy, vendor management, and results reporting. This role works closely with other key groups in iStock and as such, strong interpersonal skills are a must.

• Assist with developing the email marketing (CRM) strategy including contact strategy, segmentation/targeting, ongoing testing and content & creative optimization
• Act as the email marketing expert within iStock; keeping key stakeholders aware of new trends and best practices within the CRM/email industry
• Proactively build, develop, maintain and manage strong working relationships with various internal departments to ensure successful execution and logistics of e-marketing plans and branding initiatives
• Generate, manage and maintain email lists
• Track, analyze, and report on e-mail performance and campaign results
• Maintain current awareness of evolving methodologies, technologies, and tools for business intelligence and reporting
• Recommend new ideas, innovations & new technologies to grow and improve the email channel
• Work within and evolve internal processes related to the creation of all email/newsletter marketing
• Carry out other marketing tasks as needed

• Highly developed analytical and excel skills and familiarity with core e-commerce metrics
• Proficient with Word and PowerPoint
• Deep familiarity with defining data needs and working with technical and marketing experts to extract and make full use of the data
• Basic understanding of HTML is an asset
• Experience creating and managing large email campaigns using enterprise-level email management tools such as Silverpop, StrongMail, CheetahMail or ExactTarget is preferred
• Excellent written & verbal skills
