We're looking for someone passionate about new media, with a complete mastery of web, and modern interface design. Naturally, you'll have to be good with tight deadlines. 2+ years of experience in the industry and a clever, world-class, portfolio are minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform interface design
• Assist in a project from start to finish including concept development, execution of comps and image production.
• Create, build, and maintain rich media marketing components such as banner ads
• Must work within our brand guidelines
• Make proper use of Flash animation
• Maintain thorough understanding of effective branding for a large online entity
• Projects include both web properties and print collateral such as banners, HTML emails, marketing campaigns and promotions

Qualifications

• 2-5 years industry experience developing dynamic data driven Web sites
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS X
• Proficient in graphic design, colour theory, layout and typography for Web
• Proven capabilities with Adobe Flash with a focus on animation and basic ActionScript
• Solid knowledge of information design, usability standards, HTML and CSS Interface design experience required
• Understand the capabilities and limitations of PHP and MySQL or similar web development languages/technologies
• Understanding of web standards
• Knowledge of browser compatibility (IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera etc.)
• Works independently and takes initiative, with little or no supervision while remaining focused and energized
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proven project management experience & skills
• Specific experience with web, e-marketing, and new media design
